Shooters are made... Not Born!

Our Sunday Shooting Academy provides our rep players with a more in depth approach to a players shooting mechanics and repetitions.

The Domestic Drills & Skills Program is a specialised program that is designed for players that play in the domestic level competition only. The program is run by Big V Players and aimed at helping build skills to improve at the domestic level. It focuses on fundamentals and game-based teaching to improve multiple aspects of the player's game.

Catering for all Junior Domestic Basketball Players. If you're playing domestic basketball, you should attend! The camps will further educate all players and assist development in correct technique for shooting, ball handling, defence and passing. Many drills including games will be on offer.

Aussie Hoops Beginner Camp

This holiday program is for beginners 5 to 11 year olds.

Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation and grassroots sports participation. Aussie Hoops is all about participation and fun!

Move It Aus - Better Aging

Sport Australia’s Move It Aus -Better Ageing Grants Program objective is to increase participation in physical activity among Australians aged 65 years and older. The Walking Basketball initiative should contribute to improving overall health and well-being of older Australians. Walking Basketball is now being delivered Australia wide.

What is Walking Basketball?

Walking Basketball is a low impact, social and fun way to improve the levels of physical activity for older and inactive Australia, including those recovering from injury. Walking Basketball is played with a size 5 basketball, on a modified hip-height, or lowered, ring. Five on five game play, with rest breaks where required.
